Who is behind Kuratio
A Korean operator on your side of the table.
Kuratio was started by Won Seok in Seoul for people who can see that Korean healthcare is strong, but cannot tell which hospital, clinic, package, or quoted price is right for them.
Why I built this
International clients are often shown a separate English-language funnel: a short clinic list, a bundled quote, and no clear way to compare it with the Korean side. The hard part is not finding a hospital name. It is checking who will actually treat you, what the Korean package includes, how follow-up works after you leave, and where the coordinator's incentives sit.
My background is in bilingual Korean operations, crisis communications, and animal-welfare work. Those fields trained me to ask the unglamorous questions early, document what was promised, and stay useful when something does not go to plan.
How Kuratio works
- We compare institutions across hospital and clinic groups rather than selling one building.
- We state our coordination fee separately and do not take clinic commissions.
- We ask for named clinicians, itemized quotes, anesthesia details, and written follow-up arrangements.
- We orient clients and coordinate logistics. The treating physician makes every clinical decision.
What we will tell you
Sometimes the right answer is a large university hospital. Sometimes it is a faster specialty checkup network. Sometimes the honest answer is that the service you are considering does not need a concierge. Kuratio is useful only if we can say all three.
